At room temperature, Zinc Sulphate Heptahydrate is a white particle or powder and orthogonal crystal, which has good convergence. It is a commonly used astringent, will be weathered in dry air. It is soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and glycerin. It is mainly used as the raw material for manufacturing zinc-barium and other zinc salts, as well as the important auxiliary raw materials for viscose fiber and nylon fiber, etc. It is also used as mordant for printing and dyeing, wood and leather preservative bone glue clarification and preservation, emetic agent for medicine and fungicide, and microelement fertilizer for agriculture and so on.

Product Application:

1. It is used for the preparation of zinc tonic and astringent.

2. It is used as a mordant, wood preservative, bleaching agent for the papermaking industry, and it is also used in medicine, artificial fiber, electrolysis, electroplating, pesticides, and production of zinc salt and so on.

3. It is a supplement of zinc in the feed. It is a component of many enzymes, proteins, and ribose in animals. It is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats and can catalyze the mutual conversion of pyruvate and lactic acid to promote growth.

4. It is a permissible food zinc fortifier and can also use in artificial fiber coagulants.
